Mythodia Conservatoire welcomes you to the 1st Paros International Piano Masterclass which will be held on 4-10 July 2022 . Renowned pianists and piano teachers Magda Nikolaidou and Lefki Karpodiniwill teach. Guest of honor will be the internationally renowned pianist and professor at the Royal College of London, Andrew Zolinsky who will give a recital / lecture during the seminar.

Mythodia Conservatoire, located on the outskirts of Parikia – the capital of the beautiful Cycladic island of Paros, offers a quiet place to work, just a few minutes walk from the port – where you can spend your free time walking in the traditional small alleys , to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, to enjoy the sunset and to taste the delicious Mediterranean cuisine, always surrounded by the unique beauty of the Cycladic architecture and the Aegean Sea.

Who can apply
The Masterclass is open to advanced students from music conservatoires, colleges & universities as well as amateurs who are willing to work on a repertoire with professional guidance.

Free program selection from solo piano repertoire and piano duets (with the exception of works for prepared piano or works using contemporary techniques inside the instrument).

Thursday 7th July 2022, 21:00 – Opening recital given by the professors of the Masterclass
Friday 8th July 2022, 21:00 – Resitalby Andrew Zolinsky, International pianist and piano professor at Royal College of Music in London
Saturday 9th July 2022, 21:00 – final concert given by selected participants of the Masterclass

All concerts will take place at the Mythodia Conservatoire.

Masterclass Packages & Fees

The Masterclass is offered in two packages in order to make it more accessible to people who can not attend the whole Masterclass. In addition to the packages, you can book extra individual piano lessons.

Big Package (4th-10th July)
Active participants: 390€ | Auditors: 110€

Small Package (7th-10th July)
Active Participants: 190€ Auditors : 50€

Single Day auditors: 20€

There is no deadline for the auditors (but we will keep order of priority as the number of auditors is limited).

Application & financial terms

Extension of application deadline until June 20, 2022.
There will be a limited number of participants, so we recommend that you apply early. You can apply electronically. The electronic application form you can find by clicking

The registration fee for the seminar is 100€ and should be paid straight after you have received a positive answer in order to secure your place. This amount is included in the tuition fee. In case of cancellation the registration fee is non-refundable. The entire amount of the tuition fees must be paid by Friday, July 1st, 2022. The amount can be paid at the secretariat of the Mythodia Conservatoire or at the bank account which will be sent to you once you get accepted in the course. Bank transfer charges are the responsibility of the payer (participant of the masterclasses) and should be paid at source in addition to the registration cost.

The participants will be informed about the detailed program of the Masterclass after the completion of the registrations.

Accommodation
The participation fee does not include accommodation in Paros. If accommodation is needed feel free to contact us for help. We will be happy to assist you and to recommend convenient places to stay close to the Conservatoire. We suggest you to make early accomodation booking!

How to get to Paros

Paros is one of the Cycladic islands of the Aegean Sea. It has its own airport and port. You can either take a plane from Athens (30mins flight-duration) or get a ferry from the mainland through the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. The port of Paros is in Parikia which is located on the western side of the island. The ferry route from Piraeus to Paros runs regularly with up to 5 ferry-routes in the summer.
